Funding, Creating and Distributing the Box (2/4) Pearl Sponsorship.

As mentioned in blog part 1 of 'Funding, Creating and Distributing the Box', Sponsorship was sought for the supply of pipe band drumsticks and practice pads. I have since accepted two sponsorship offers.

Pearl Drums

After contacting the marching percussion devision, through the Pearl Marching Drums Europe Instagram page, I received an offer of sponsorship for the project in the form of 30 practice pads, worth over £800.

This sponsorship deal has been transformative to the project as it allows for a quality product to be delivered, enhancing the professional image of the PBDB, and allows me to spend more time focussing on the creative development of lesson materials.

The Pearl sponsorship will now inform the creative development of the Box element of PBDB. As opposed to the original development inspiration, old fashioned rope drums, Pearl's "Championship Series Pipe Band Snare Drum" will now inform the creative development of the box design.
